The published masterclass lessons are free. Agency work and Inner Circle mentorship require a separate agreed scope and price. No payment is created by signing in, saving a brief or booking a discovery call.
About Earny and these terms
Earny is run by Victor Soko in Johannesburg, South Africa. Contact info@earny.co.za about these terms or your service. These terms apply to earny.co.za, www.earny.co.za and the Earny classroom. Read the Privacy policy to understand information processing; it is a notice, not a blanket consent to unrelated data uses.
You must be at least 18 to create an account or purchase services, and have authority to act for any business or store you represent. By creating or using an account, you agree to these terms. A paid engagement starts only when its written scope and commercial terms are accepted. Mandatory consumer rights always take priority.
Your account and acceptable use
- Use accurate contact information, keep sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if your account is compromised. Use only accounts and stores you are authorised to access.
- Do not impersonate another person, attempt to access another learner’s records, introduce malware, bypass access controls, disrupt the service or upload unlawful or infringing material.
- Your notes, photo, brief and store information must be information you are entitled to provide. Avoid entering customer personal data or confidential payment information into classroom fields.
- Use assessments honestly. Do not submit work as someone else or manipulate grading and badge records. You can ask us to review a marking error.
Free masterclass, assessments and certificates
The Earny masterclass is a self-paced ecommerce learning programme taught by Victor Soko. All 90 daily lessons are available. The programme is self-paced; the day numbers provide a sequence, not a requirement to finish in 90 calendar days. Published lessons are available without a course fee, subject to ordinary device, internet and third-party costs.
Each published daily quiz has five questions. The 12 block checkpoints after days 7, 14, 20, 30, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77 and 84 have ten questions each. The final assessment after day 90 has 20 questions and requires all 90 daily quizzes and all earlier checkpoints to be passed first. Some block checkpoints deliberately revisit daily questions as retrieval practice. The current pass mark is 80%; a checkpoint requires the relevant daily quizzes to be passed first. Attempts, feedback and best scores are saved. Retakes are allowed and a lower later result does not erase a higher saved result. Badges are awarded when their displayed requirements are met.
An Earny certificate of completion becomes available after all 90 daily quizzes and all 13 checkpoints, including the final assessment, are passed at 80% or above. Eligibility is checked against the signed-in learner’s saved scores. The private certificate displays the current learner name, a record reference, completion date and best final score; the learner may print it or save it as a PDF. Assessments are open-book and unproctored. Practical tasks are self-directed and are not individually audited, and the certificate does not verify the learner’s identity or a business’s performance. It is not an accredited qualification, licence or guarantee of employment or business performance. Paying for mentorship does not waive assessment requirements. We will explain material changes to assessment requirements before they apply.
Content is educational. Examples, revenue figures and conversion scenarios are illustrative unless clearly identified otherwise. You are responsible for checking supplier, product, tax, advertising and other requirements relevant to your business. We do not promise a first sale, a particular profit, revenue or return on ad spend. Optional narration uses synthetic device/browser voices, not a recording or clone of Victor’s voice.
Community guidelines and moderation
Community participation is optional. Choose an appropriate display name and username, be respectful and share material you are entitled to publish. Posts, images and replies are shared with your chosen audience: everyone in Earny or accepted friends. Everyone means signed-in community members, not the public internet. Profile wins collections and sales overviews are optional and have separate sharing controls. Never post customer personal information, passwords, payment details, fabricated results, unlawful content or material that infringes someone else’s rights. Harassment, impersonation, spam and unsolicited promotional messages are not permitted.
Give context for business figures. Revenue is not profit, a learner-entered record is not verified evidence, and a single result does not predict another person’s outcome. You are responsible for checking what you choose to share. A shared sales snapshot stays unchanged if its underlying tracker entry later changes. You can delete your own posts and replies or change a post’s audience. Images must be yours or shared with appropriate permission. You retain your rights and give Earny the limited permission needed to store and display them to your chosen audience and to authorised moderators. Do not upload customer records, confidential information or images that infringe another person’s privacy or rights.
Friend requests must be accepted before direct messaging. Respect a declined request or block. Use reporting for a genuine concern, not to harass another member. Reporting a private message shares the selected message with moderators; the rest of the conversation is not exposed in the admin review screen. Read the Privacy policy before joining.
Earny admins can hide posts or replies, pause community access and resolve reports to protect the service. Where appropriate we explain a decision and allow a review through info@earny.co.za. A community suspension does not by itself remove access to your private course lessons. Moderation actions are logged. You may leave the community from its profile controls without deleting your private learning records.
Agency work and Inner Circle
Website package prices are indicative project ranges in South African rand: Launchpad R3,500–R13,000; Growth Engine R15,000–R35,000; Scale Partner R45,000+. The accepted proposal confirms the total price, any applicable tax, deliverables, included revisions, payment milestones, dependencies, ongoing charges and third-party expenses. Shopify subscriptions, paid themes, apps, advertising spend and supplier costs are separate unless expressly included.
Inner Circle is optional paid access to a more direct mentorship arrangement. You can enquire without finishing the free course. Session frequency, access channels, response expectations, duration and price must be agreed before payment. A saved classroom brief is private preparation; it is not an accepted application, sent enquiry, reservation, subscription or payment. Use the booking or email link to contact us.
The site currently has no Inner Circle checkout or automatic recurring-billing facility. We do not charge a card merely because you create an account. If a future offer includes recurring payments, its price, billing frequency and cancellation method must be disclosed and accepted separately.
Project process, approvals and handover
Provide agreed materials, lawful asset licences, necessary collaborator access and timely feedback. Use role-based access rather than sending passwords. Estimated timeline pages are planning guides; the accepted proposal establishes the project schedule. We will discuss changes when approvals, dependencies or third-party availability affect delivery.
Work outside the accepted scope requires a written change agreement covering the effect on cost and timing. We will not treat silence as approval for additional charges. Any project-specific handover, asset ownership, licence, support period and final-payment conditions must be stated in the accepted agreement. Your existing materials remain yours; third-party software and media retain their own licences.
Content, licences and your contributions
Earny’s lesson text, artwork and brand material belong to Earny or their respective rights holders. You may use lessons and downloads for your own learning and business planning. You may not resell the course, redistribute its question bank or claim its content as your own without permission. This does not limit lawful quotation or other statutory exceptions.
You keep rights in your original notes, photo, brief and other submitted material. You allow Earny and its service providers to store, display and process that material only as needed to operate the features you use or deliver an agreed service. Joining the community permits the member-visible display described in the community section; it does not give Earny permission to publish your private work as a testimonial or case study. Separate permission is needed for identifiable client publicity.
Third parties, availability and account closure
Google/Firebase, ChatGPT sign-in, Shopify, Calendly and device speech services operate under their own terms. Their availability, pricing or capabilities can change. Linking a store does not make Earny responsible for fulfilling that store’s orders. We will use reasonable care in providing agreed services, but cannot promise uninterrupted access to every third-party service.
We may restrict access when necessary to protect accounts, investigate serious misuse or comply with law. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and a way to contact us, and give notice before a material discontinuation. Suspension does not remove refund or other statutory rights. You can stop using the classroom, delete learning data in Settings and request sign-in account closure as explained in the Privacy policy.
Consumer rights, complaints and changes
Read our Cancellations & refunds policy for paid services. Nothing here excludes liability or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act or Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Any project-specific limitation must be lawful and clearly agreed; these website terms do not impose a blanket waiver for defective services.
South African law governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections that apply in your location. Send concerns to info@earny.co.za with your service reference and desired resolution. You remain free to approach a competent court, regulator or applicable consumer dispute body. Updates are dated above; we will give appropriate notice of material changes. New website terms do not retrospectively remove rights under an accepted paid agreement.
